Sound Mind is accepting applications for Therapist I. The duties of this position include evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues and disorders, treatment planning, ongoing assessments, referring and resourcing, and discharge planning. The Therapist I is responsible for adhering to internal and external laws, policies, and regulations. They must keep timely and accurate documentation and reporting procedures. The successful candidate must have knowledge of therapeutic techniques and experience with treatment. The Therapist I must be able to demonstrate interpersonal skills, excellent communication and listening skills, cultural competence, problem solving skills, attention to detail, effective time management and organizational skills.
Master Degree in Social Work or related field, and licensure with the KSBSRB (Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board) required.
